Texts based on a walk on Google Maps and specimens derived from 120 Film

Part of Elbow Room

Held at the National Institute of Education, Singapore

Blue-Green investigates the notion of water in our urban environment – through the use of medium format photography alongside writings based on a walk taken via Google Maps. The work attempts to question our ways of seeing, by examining the growth of scum and by deriving experiences through observations of the everyday. It is concerned with image and text as a platform for the ‘reader’ to scrutinize and retrieve data.
